outDriven exists to bring people together through a shared passion for cars.
We're proud to be a welcoming UK community for LGBTQ+ people and allies, where everyone is treated with respect and can enjoy the automotive scene without fear of discrimination or exclusion.
By taking part in our community or attending our events, you agree to help us maintain this positive environment.
Our Community
Treat everyone with kindness, courtesy and respect.
We do not tolerate discrimination, harassment, bullying or abusive behaviour of any kind based on race, ethnicity, nationality, religion, disability, age, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or any other protected characteristic.
Everyone deserves to feel welcome.
Respect Everyone
outDriven events are about enjoying cars together, not encouraging dangerous driving.
When attending our meets or drive-outs, please:
Obey all road traffic laws.
Drive safely and responsibly.
Respect speed limits.
Avoid excessive noise where it may disturb others.
Never drive under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
Your driving reflects on the whole community.
Drive Responsibly
Many of our events rely on the goodwill of businesses, landowners and local communities.
Please:
Leave every location clean and tidy.
Dispose of rubbish responsibly.
Follow any venue rules.
Be respectful to staff, residents and other visitors.
We want every venue to welcome outDriven back.
Respect Our Venues
Respect People's Privacy
Not everyone wants to appear in photographs or videos.
Please ask before taking close-up photos or filming individuals, especially if they are the main subject of your content.
If someone asks for an image of them or their vehicle to be removed from your social media, please respect their request wherever reasonably possible.
One of the best parts of any car meet is meeting new people.
If you notice someone attending alone or looking unsure, say hello and help them feel welcome.
A small gesture can make a big difference.
Be Inclusive
Cars occasionally break down.
People sometimes need help.
If it's safe to do so, support fellow members and help create the friendly atmosphere that outDriven stands for.
Look After Each Other
We may remove content, ask individuals to leave an event or remove them from the community if their behaviour is inconsistent with these values.
These decisions are made to help keep outDriven welcoming, safe and enjoyable for everyone.
If you ever need to raise a concern about someone's behaviour, or report something that's happened at an event or online, please contact us at hello@outdriven.co.uk. We'll treat it seriously and in confidence.
